Los Oscars 2010 planteará una dura batalla entre ‘Avatar’ y ‘En Tierra hostil’.
Con nueve nominaciones cada uno, «Avatar» y «En Tierra Hostil», son las grandes favoritas en los Premios de la 82ª Academia de las 10 películas que competirán por el premio a la mejor película.
Estas dos se encuentran entre los mejores candidatos del cine, que también incluyen «The Blind Side», «Distritc 9», «Un Education», «Inglourious Basterds», «Precious: Basado en la novela Push», «Un tipo serio», «Up» y «Up in the Air».
Las nominaciones fueron anunciadas ayer por la mañana a las 5:38 am por la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas por Tom Sherak y Anne Hathaway. Destacar el puede suponer el segundo Oscar para la española Penelope Cruz por «Nine» y la nominación al corto español «La dama y la muerte», al mejor cortometraje de animación; la película «Up» de Pixar, por su nominación al Oscar a la mejor película, cosa que no sucedía desde que fuese nominada la «Bella y la Bestia».
Algunas ya estaban cantadas tras la última edición de los Globos de Oro, como las nominaciones de Christopher Waltz «Inglourious basterds» o George Clooney por «Up in the Air», o como no las nominaciones recibidas de «Avatar», aunque llama la atención que actores como Sam Rockwell por «Moon» o Viggo Mortensen por «The Road», hayan sido relegados al olvido en esta edición.
